Interview with Jeanine Somefun-Wolthuis, Marketing & Sustainability Manager at Eosta

What do you enjoy about working at Eosta?

Jeanine: "For me, the best thing about working at Eosta is the opportunity to truly contribute to a more sustainable world. We work in a dynamic and international environment, in a challenging market. Additionally, it's a flat organization with a close-knit team, which makes it a great place to work. And a bonus is our company restaurant, where you can choose from a variety of organic salads and soups every day, besides the usual bread and toppings!"

What makes a marketing and communication internship at Eosta special?

Jeanine: "Eosta is a relatively compact company, which means that as an intern, you can do a lot and really take on responsibility, provided you have the capacity for it. But there's definitely good guidance as well. When it comes to social media, your fresh perspective is more than welcome! The market we operate in is quite complex, which makes the internship even more challenging. Additionally, since we are active internationally, you get to engage with different cultures and markets, enriching the learning experience."

What is it like working in Eosta's building?

Jeanine: "Our building is fully circular, made from sustainable materials, which creates a pleasant working environment. You have your own sit/stand desk, which makes working comfortable. Plus, we’re right next to the warehouse, so you can see what’s happening there from the office – and of course, you can pop in regularly!"
