The Cranberry Company – Dutch organic cranberries, grown differently

In the Krimpenerwaard region, The Cranberry Company grows organic cranberries on 18 hectares of peat soil – an innovative example of “farming with nature”, showing respect for soil, water and biodiversity.

By preserving the naturally moist peat soil, peat oxidation is prevented and the ecosystem remains in balance. In doing so, the growers contribute to a climate-friendly way of farming in an area where dairy farming is becoming increasingly challenging.

The cranberries are dry-harvested, resulting in firm, flavourful berries with a long shelf life. A new sorting machine ensures consistent, high quality.
